Founded in 1987 by Daniel Johnson, the Texas Early Music Project is dedicated to preserving and advancing the art of Medieval, Renaissance, Baroque, and early Classical music through performance, recordings, and educational outreach.

This CD features the cantata Alles was ihr tut of Dietrich Buxtehude and the requiem Musikalische Exequien of Heinrich Schütz. Texas Early Music Project's live performance of this concert was awarded "Best Choral Concert 2005" by the Austin Critics' Table.
